J.P. Rosenbaum

J.P. Rosenbaum is the founder and President of Fordess Development, a Miami-based owner's representation firm dedicated to protecting the interests of private owners, investors, and institutions throughout every stage of real estate development and construction.

With over two decades of experience across New York City and South Florida, J.P. has built a career at the intersection of development, construction management, and owner advocacy. He has worked across virtually every asset class — multifamily, mixed-use, commercial office, hospitality, retail, and condominium — on projects ranging from boutique mid-rise developments to large-scale, high-rise towers.

Before founding Fordess, J.P. held senior leadership roles at some of the most respected names in real estate development and construction, where he oversaw billions of dollars in project value, opened and managed new market offices, and built development platforms from the ground up. His experience spans the full lifecycle of a project — from initial feasibility and entitlements through design, construction, occupancy, and asset management.

Since founding Fordess, J.P. has personally overseen more than 3 million square feet of development across South Florida, bringing the same institutional rigor and hands-on discipline to each engagement regardless of scale. His clients benefit from a single, highly experienced point of accountability — someone who understands both the developer's perspective and the contractor's playbook, and uses that knowledge entirely in service of the owner.

J.P. holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
